Allergy Question?

How can you tell when you have a fiber allergy? I've been working on my ISE4's pal scarf off and on for a few weeks. And it seems every time I pick it up my eyes get itchy, my throat gets scrathy, and I get this annoying cough. I've had the cough for a while now, and I didn't relate it to the yarn until today. The cough usually happened while I was in a rested state. And I'm noticing it seems worse when I'm working on this scarf.

Are allergies to Alpaca common? This is my first project using it. And it's starting to look to me like I might be allergic. I sure hope not.

Sounds fishy, could be possible.

Just in case, I've ordered you some non wool yarn to add to your super stash - watch the post!

That sounds like what happens to me with Angora. I can't go near the stuff. I have the same problem with cashmere. I KNOW! Cashmere of all things.

Is there anything else in the yarn besides the Alpaca?
