ONE FETCHING DONE!

And I hate it! Not the pattern. It's a great pattern. What I hate is the combination of a pattern I love, with a yarn I really like, which somehow produced an FO that I hate. The yarn (Patons SWS) is way to fuzzy for cables. They got completely lost in all the fuzz.

I love the pattern so much that I've decided that for the up coming long weekend I will dedicate my time to knitting at least one pair of them. I have several other projects I want to attempt to complete also. But my weekend focus is definately going to be Fetchings.

Might help if I actually inserted the pics.
A BIG DUH! MOMENT!

edited: sorry about the bad pic and crazy silly posts this morning. I only get 10 minutes for break, and I wanted to get this post in.

I can't help myself. I guess depression makes me want to attempt new things to help shake off old feelings.

I can now say I have actually knit Cables.

WOO HOO!!!

CAN'T STOP STARTING!!!

Inspired by a knitter I met at Knit Night Out, and an episode of Knitty Gritty from a few seasons ago, I decided that I had to try my hand at Double Knitting. And here's what I have so far.

The Dishcloth Obsession Continues...

Here's my latest offering. Isn't the bird way too cute!

And don't think I stopped my obsession with illusion knitting. My latest attempt is a tribute to my favorite TV show of all times. Can you guess what it is? Here's a hint...

FINISHED CHARITY SCARF.

I'm so proud of myself tonight. I refused to go to bed until I completed this scarf. I'm proud because it's my first attempt at designing an illusion pattern. I'm proud because even with all the mis-steps I finished it in just a few weeks. And I'm most proud of the fact that this project was designed and knit as a charity project for a very good friend to sell to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Now it's off to bed for me. To dream up my next project.

Goodnight!

YES, I'M STILL ALIVE...

I know it may seem as though I fell off the planet, but I didn't. These last few months have been kind of Topsy turvy for me. A lot of good things, and a lot of bad things happening back to back. I've shared quite a bit of it with my knit friends. Who politely listened, let me rant and rave, gave me hugs and words of encouragement, and basically helped me get by.

In the mean time and in between time, I KNIT. BOY DID I KNIT! Sometime this weekend I'll post pics of all the projects I've been working on this summer.

Bye Bye for now.
