GOOD-BYE MY SWEET LITTLE GIRL

I had to have my sweet little dog put to sleep this morning.  And sad doesn't even begin to describe how I'm feeling.  I know it was time to let her go, put it still hurts.  She had been with me for almost ten years.  Samantha was between 6 and 10 when I adopted her. Which put her over 16yrs old.  And her health has been deteriorating for over a year, and I finally had to make the decision to let her go.

She will be missed.

Oh my...I am so so sorry to hear about this. No, "sad" isn't a word that can encompass your sense of loss in any way...let me know if there's anything I can do or if you want to talk, or even just a big hug.

I'm so very sorry. I know there aren't words to comfort you or ease your loss, but if there is anything I can do let me know. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Oh, Sonya, I'm so so sorry to hear that, I know how much you loved her. I'm sure you made the right decision, though, and at least you can take some small comfort in that. If you ever need anything you know how to reach me. *hugs*!

I'm very sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing she's happy and healthy again and will always hold a special place in your heart, and you in hers.

So sorry to hear your news... BIG squeezy blog hugs to you. I know how you must be feeling as I would be devastated if it was my Douglas dog (now 15yrs). When you're lying awake and can't sleep at night just remember the good times.

It's tough, isn't it? I had to put my dog, Smidley, down five years ago. I'd gotten her when she was 6 weeks old and she lived to be 17.5 years old! I miss her still.
