HAPPY 2008!!!

Well, I'm finally home. I've had some sleep. And now I'm ready to dive into "2008"! Even though it didn't start out all that great, I figure it can only get better. At least that's what I'm going to hold onto.

I'm so glad to be home. Don't get me wrong, the visit with my parents and their friends turned out much better than had thought it would. But I'm still glad to be back home, with a working computer, and old habits ready to be renewed.

Here's to making 2008 a year to be remembered!

(more to come about my trip, and my plans for this milestone year in the making)

You sound well rested and ready to take on a new year.

I've been missing every one at knit night but I have been nothing but sick. Sick of being sick.

I've got a few days off. Maybe that'll help me kick the cooties out of my system.

Happy new year! Nice to see someone else from Detroit! OK, I'm in Warren...close enough! :o) I love your felted slippers! I've never had the courage to felt, or maybe it's the lack of money for getting actual WOOL! :o)

I'll be back to read. I'm at: http://kaliningrad-adoption.blogspot.com It's mostly about my 2 kids--adopted from Russia...but I got a LITTLE knitting in there...my 5 year old is now learning, so THAT could be interesting!

Take care,
Laurel
