I decided to put my "Jaywalker" socks on hold and see if I could make a beenie hat. I found a pattern I liked in "Hats - a Knitter's Dozen" book I had picked up a few months ago. After a couple of false starts the "Beach Beenie" worked up pretty quickly. About one day total knitting time. It's a little shallow for my tastes, but I still like it. It's not to bad if I do say so myself, and it's purple of course. My favorite color.
