HELLO SPRING...FINALLY!

I'm hoping it's finally here.  I'm so sick of snow.  And weather variations of twenty degrees in a few hours.  It's wreaking havoc on my desire to knit/crochet.  For the last week or so, I found myself not interested in working on any of my existing projects.  But I have found time to start a couple of new ones.

Here's the beginning of my Bluebird.     The pattern for this little cutie came from one of my Japanese Amigurumi books.  I got all the pieces done yesterday while at knitting, but couldn't put them together because I forgot to bring some stuffing with me.  Hopefully I'll have some finished photos to share this evening.

And this is my Juno from Knitty.    The yarn was dyed by a good friend, M., and the purple and gold colors are going to be gorgeous.

I also finally broke down and ordered some of the Raven Series Socks That Rock yarn from Blue Moon Fiber Arts.    No pictures seem to be able to do justice to these beautiful skeins of yarn.  The colors are so subtle, that even I didn't notice some of the variations until I held them up in the sunlight.  If you can, I'd suggest you get yourself a skein or two.  They are more beautiful in person than be could imagined.

Have a great day.  I'm certainly going to try to.
